What VelaStream is
VelaStream is a media player for Windows. It plays playlists and streams that you supply. VelaStream does not provide, host, sell or distribute any IPTV streams, subscriptions, channels or media content, and the app ships with no channel list.
We are not a content provider. We do not check the sources you add. Whether a source is lawful to use is your decision and your responsibility.
Your sources and responsibilities
Use VelaStream only with sources you are allowed to use. Before you add a playlist, guide or stream, make sure that:
- you have an active subscription or another right to access the content;
- your use follows your provider's terms and the copyright and broadcasting laws where you live;
- you do not use the app to redistribute streams or to get around access controls.
DVR recording is for personal use, and only where the law and your provider's terms allow it. You are responsible for what you record and where you keep it.
The Stalker / MAG option emulates a set-top box. Use it only with a provider you subscribe to.
Keep your login details safe. Anyone who can use your Windows account can also open the playlists saved in VelaStream.
Free and Pro
VelaStream is free to download. The Free plan includes one active playlist and the core features.
Pro adds up to five playlists, DVR recording, program reminders, accent themes and the other Pro features shown in the app.
Pro is available as a yearly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Both are sold through Microsoft Store, which shows the price and billing details.
Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Microsoft Store under Microsoft's terms. We cannot change charges or issue refunds ourselves.
If the app cannot reach Microsoft Store to check your license, Pro can stay active for a grace period of up to 14 days after the last successful check.
When a Pro subscription ends
When a subscription ends, your account returns to the Free plan. The app then makes these changes:
- extra playlists are locked, not deleted, and only one playlist stays active;
- an active recording stops, and scheduled recordings that have not started are canceled. Recordings you already saved stay on your PC;
- the accent theme returns to the default red.
Your playlists, favorites, watch history and saved recordings are kept. A lifetime purchase does not expire.
Reminders and scheduled recordings
Program reminders and scheduled recordings only run while VelaStream is open. If the app is closed when a program starts, you will not get the reminder and the recording will not start.
Third-party services and content
Live TV, guides and catch-up come from your provider. Sports scores come from ESPN and SofaScore, artwork from TMDB and trailers from YouTube. These services belong to others. They can change, slow down or stop without notice, and we do not guarantee them.
VelaStream is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by ESPN, SofaScore, YouTube or Google. The TMDB attribution and the other notices are on the Licenses and notices page.
No warranty
VelaStream is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied. That includes any promise that the app will suit your provider, playlist or device, or that it will run without interruption or errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. We are also not liable for losses caused by a provider, a stream, a third-party service or content you choose to use. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for VelaStream.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Intellectual property
VelaStream, its name and its logo belong to ERTK Labs. Third-party components keep their own licenses. Those are listed on the Licenses and notices page, and they govern how you may use or change those components.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will say so in the release notes. Continuing to use VelaStream after a change means you accept the new terms.
